  1. I love the plan, but 36ft! Will be interesting to see this one develop. Only went there once back when i was on a canal holiday in 84 or 85 with mum and dad. Got dumped by my parents for a few hours at the station. Quite a busy place as i recall. Only part of the holiday i really remember.
  2. What an awesome space. I like you idea of home buying
  3. You can of course do this using a spare trailer car and rearrange the bodyside with accordingly. Dis several like this way back before there was any other way.
  4. Can i ask how/where the trains will disappear "off scene"? As i recall the real location is pretty open in both directions, so no obvious scenic breaks. it a conundrum i have with one of my ideas/locations, where there are not even any over bridges.
  5. If i understand the construction correctly, could you not replace the last few inches of traverser with aluminium or steel plate? That certainly wont warp!
  6. Dont take this the wrong way, but are you sure about using those scotchlock connectors? Ive used these in the past, albeit on cars and found them to be unreliable in the extreme.
  7. 2.2m long :unsure: Thats nuts! Very very impressed. Id suggest glazing it, i think it would look better.
  8. I hope you have a speed restriction in place on that wet spot :D
  9. I read the bit about automatic control, but pray tell, how do you achieve this on an end to end arrangement? Ignore me I understand now. Spent way too long on the internet though
  10. Nice. I thought they were all done in plain blue?????
  11. Blimy, i remember these vans. I did a conversion 20 years ago, sadly it was on a Hornby brake, so not a great base. I remember it well as it it was part of a loco hauled rake used on the chiltern route vice a 115 dmu on the aylsbury turns. Nice work.
  12. This is the first time ive seen this. Its just fantastic! One thing i think is really good is that all your marker lights are nice and dim. You see way to many models with bright ones. They were never bright! Just superb!
