Just over a week to go and all going according to plan so far, looking forward to seeing you there. We're a friendly bunch and if you want a look behind the scenes in the workshop we should be able to arrange something. Possibly two engines in steam on the passenger trains too.

We've got a new colour book out showing the first 50 years in preservation too - From Rag to Railway - full details will be on www.middletonrailway.org.uk in the next day or so, it will be on sale at the exhibition, a bargain at £8.50!

As an added bonus when I drove past Midland Road (Freightliner depot) 2 minutes by car or 10 minutes by foot from the railway there was 50% of the new class 70 fkleet parked up next to the gate. As it's Sunday I suspect that they will be on shed most of the day.
