AMJ Posted May 15, 2010 Share Posted May 15, 2010 The good thing is that many Whitby-Pickering tickets are classed as day rover tickets. So you can try to do all the locos that are operating each day. I have been when they change locos at Grosmont for the Whitby run and there has been just one loco operating this section. english electric Posted May 15, 2010 Share Posted May 15, 2010 if anybody is travelling to the nymr tomorrow please note the following, today has been chaos today for the nymr due to line closure between pickering and goathland due to a number of fires and it started around 12pm and services were suspend even the diner tonight is grosmont to goathland so the final day of the steam gala could see diesels involved this is due to high fire risk at the moment over the moors and they are thinking of changing firecon status Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
