Just to flag up this event in Worcester this weekend….

 

History of Railways in Worcestershire

 

Displays from Worcester Loco Society (including yours truly) and a talk by Chris Wilkinson, the intention is to open up the knowledge in WLS to the general public.

A good day! Took along a display of relevant motive power including 8 of James’s Castles and appropriate stock for the Cathedrals Express and the vinegar branch.

Much interest generated, was able to dispense modelling tips and enjoy anecdotes from ex 85A railwaymen.

SWMBOs millionaires shortbread went down a storm too… and 1661 ended up posing for a drawing…
