bubbles2
I was there today, excellent isn't it, It has been around for awhile but I have not seen it on-line before. It is actually a tongue in cheek poke at the Ffestiniog Railway, or was it the Welsh Highland, who produced a similar, although serious publicity film. Both! is the (far superior) original that promotes the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways. Around a year ago the F&WHR general manager, Paul Lewin, paid one of his frequent visits to Launceston and proudly showed everyone a copy of the video. His error came when he suggested that something similar should be made for Launceston - when Paul next visited (with the L&B replica 'Lyd') the video 'Shortliner' linked to was playing on a loop in the museum... Incidentally there are a number of videos now available on the LSR Youtube Channel which may prove inspirational for modellers. RMweb Premium Kris Posted November 13, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 13, 2021 It seems like the Launceston railway might be getting some"new" stock. Apparently they have purchased the stock from the Wells Harbour Railway and that they are on their way down to Cornwall.
