RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted January 9, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 9, 2011 As the staff at Charlotte Road were preparing to lock up the station for the final time, an interesting noise could be heard approaching, and then 70001 burst onto the scene, on a special working to Lotty, - 0Z70, 06:43, Widnes Vine Yard - Charlotte Road and 0Z71, 15:30 return. Luckily I was on hand to capture this unique working 70001 poses near to the crane, fortunately not attached. After the box had been recovered, 70001 nervously passes the hole, class 70s are known to have a foundness for dropping into holds. 0Z71 took the rather overgrown direct chord ...
