RMweb Premium Mike Bellamy Posted March 12, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 12, 2014 Copied below from Tower Models Ixion have informed us that they have now sold out of the green version of the Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 locomotives and are running low on the maroon version. Undoubtedly there will be a re-run of these award winning locomotives but it is likely to take some time. Furthermore, as it has been almost two years since the original launch, a price increase will be expected. We have in stock just two green Hudswell Clarke plus one we have sound fitted. Once sold, we will have to wait and see what happens about supply. Note my bold above - that's the first time I have seen that mentioned . . . . . . . . . . Kev_Lewis
My heartiest congratulations to Chris Klein and the Team at Ixion. This is more proof of the huge success they are having, which can only benefit the hobby. Maybe Tower Models knows something that Ixion don't....? ;-) I think Towers Models would claim to know the meaning of life if it would sell them a few more models. RMweb Premium Dava Posted March 18, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 18, 2014 Is it nearly time to find out what the next Ixion loco (assuming there is one) will be? The Fowler chassis is so good, it deserves a second outing, eg Hudswell Clarke jackshaft drive loco. Dava
81A Oldoak
Our next loco is in the design process. It will be radically different to what we done so far and we will make an announcement when the design work has been completed. We have no immediate plans to re-run the Hudswell Clarke, which would require a minimum run of 1,000 pieces.
