Ixion has sold out of the lined green version of its acclaimed 0 Gauge RTR Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 saddle-tank locomotive.  500 were produced and the only green versions likely to be available are a small number remaining in stock with our retailers, who are listed on the Ixion website at http://www.ixionmodels.com/

Lined maroon and unlined black versions continue to be available for the time being.

Dragon Models have 5 left as of the 11th March, but who knows for how much longer?

Copied below from Tower Models

Ixion have informed us that they have now sold out of the green version of the Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 locomotives and are running low on the maroon version. Undoubtedly there will be a re-run of these award winning locomotives but it is likely to take some time. Furthermore, as it has been almost two years since the original launch, a price increase will be expected.

We have in stock just two green Hudswell Clarke plus one we have sound fitted. Once sold, we will have to wait and see what happens about supply.

Note my bold above - that's the first time I have seen that mentioned . . . . . . . . . .

Maybe Tower Models knows something that Ixion don't....? ;-)

My heartiest congratulations to Chris Klein and the Team at Ixion. This is more proof of the huge success they are having, which can only benefit the hobby.

I think Towers Models would claim to know the meaning of life if it would sell them a few more models.

Is it nearly time to find out what the next Ixion loco (assuming there is one) will be?

The Fowler chassis is so good, it deserves a second outing, eg Hudswell Clarke jackshaft drive loco.

Our next loco is in the design process. It will be radically different to what we done so far and we will make an announcement when the design work has been completed. We have no immediate plans to re-run the Hudswell Clarke, which would require a minimum run of 1,000 pieces.
