Six months on

We have now fixed down the track, added lights and static grass. There a number of new additions to the layout including howes sound chipped NSE 108, DBS 37 670 St Blazey and large logo 47572, Ely Cathedral. The lights add another dimension to the layout at night and bring out the best of it. There are still a few more bits to add including signals, more static grass, people and possibly overhead wires from Dapol.     47 573 The London Standard waits on shed   (Left to right) 47 535 Un

A new start

After a unsucessful first attempt on DCC we decided to start again after one of the points gave way and running was poor. The new layout has been designed with electrofrog points and a completely new track layout. Taking things slow to make sure we get it right this time. The track's down and weathered and awaits ballasting. It's 7 foot long and about 1.5 foot wide. Control is the standard dynamics which was bought cheap at last year's Warley show.   Plans include more sound locos and fitting
