Had a look, don't think your method'll work for me, the Faller system is easy to install in the road surface on my existing layout and the magnorail will go round very tight corners. Plus I've already got the stuff so there's not much point in trying to make something work from scratch.

That's fair but if you use n gauge and do not have the money/existing eqitment it is a great idea.
