Nice work, DJH were a good choice for BR standards before Bachmann and Hornby produced their respective versions. Kemilway did a lovely BR Standard Class 3 2-6-2T, as well. I also did the DJH Standard 4 tank just before the Bachmann one was announced, and then I did the Standard Class 5, again before the Bachmann one was announced, although in the latter case I had the 'wrong' tender in the kit, so ended up using a Hornby Britannia tender as the basis...

I agree - although I believe that in terms of pulling power the DJH kits are far in advance of the latest Bachmann and Hornby offerings. With the way they are built I wonder about the durability of the chassis/derive trains of the RTR locos... hence i have a DJH A1 kit to build bought off ebay for a very good price...

J25 no but would like one (so I have two J27s as well both Nucast) 

G5 - yep - Nucast

A5 - yep - dad scratchbuilt one in plasticard ( but I wonder where it is??)

A8 - nope but would like one

K1 - nope but would like one

Q6 - yep - Nucast

As you can see I have tried but obviously Bill Stott hit the nail on the head when he designed his kits - maybe Hornby and Bachmann have missed out big time but I think they believe all LNER/BR(NE) modellers live in the North east and are skint....

please start working in N gauge, I have many LMS loco's I would love to see produced,

been there gave up - but I wouldn't worry as the way things are going you will have your wishes granted... 

What I should have mentioned is that I modified the DJH kits to bring the cylinders in closer to the frames - for some reason DJH add bits to teh cylinders to make them overwide - its simply a case of cutting back the whitemetal to the marks on the cylinder casting..
