Guidance please!

Forgive me for my ignorance as a fairly recent member of the RMWeb. I want to add '67B' to 'Jock' on my blogs and responses and hope that one of the more experienced can advise me, or at least point me to the correct area of the site to ask such a question? Did my engineering degree with a slide rule as is probably becoming obvious! Another point is that I don't know how posts are selected to show on the portal front page. Excuse the ignorance - I will persevere.

Kind regards to all,

Jock 67B.

Very Briefly  I think you may be better off asking questions in the relevent sub-forums of the site rather than in a Blog post....that way they will appear in the View New Content, and also stay visible in each thread where I would say mroe people will see/comment/advise on whatever it is.........

Hi Jock,

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking. Do you want to change your user name so that 'Jock 67B' appears at the top of your posts? If so, only the admin folk can do this, so your best bet would be to send a PM (personal message)

to Andy Y. Click on that link and press the 'send me a message' button.

While I'm at it, and as others have said, all of your blog posts so far would have been much better posted in the forums, e.g. in prototype questions, forum help, or in Phil's own thread. Blogs really are meant for showing examples of your work or other substantial content. Take a look around the blogs and see how others use them.

Thank you for your understanding folks, I've made a note and will move to the relevant sections! I am determined to learn how to do it properly and now I know that when my illness and funding allow, I hope to be able to add a blog showing the start of work on my chosen layout.

Thank you once again and kind regards,

Jock67B.
