I hope you're happy and enjoying your new house. Many years ago I too had a similar dilemma, garage full of "junk".

So, I took the bull by the horns and got a skip, cleared nearly all of it ( especially that which hadn't been used for years) , converted the garage with a knock through into the living room.

It was the best thing I ever did, minimising all that junk and placing what was left in my attic space.
