Foster Street - Board 3 (Pest Infestation)

As the Domestic Overlord has granted my parole, because I have been such a good boy recently :) I decided to ballast the track on Board 3.

This usually boring job, progressed far quicker than I thought and as a result I had some free time, so out came the paint brushes and I attempted to make the girder bridge look more realistic.

Feeling rather smug with myself I thought I would review some of my goods rolling stock, and work out how many wagons I needed to finish, a task I'm not looking forward to as some of the transfers are tiny, and I have even had lettered some (yes I am mad :)). Anyway now to the precautionary part of this blog, PEST INFESTATIONS.

I needed to get something from the spare room and I was only away from the layout for 5 minutes but when I returned I found the following swarming over the greenery.

It took me ages to shepherd the little pests off the layout, and you would not believe the mess they have left behind, if only I had some miniature rhubarb, but I know one thing the Domestic Overlord will never believe me.

Until next time as ever Happy Modelling :)

This is looking really good!  You are very lucky that your pests only rampage over the scenery.  When my back is turned, they rampage over my work-bench and move all the tools to strange places.  I seem to spend all my modelling time hunting for tools that I was using just a moment ago!

Try this one on your friends:  Start by asking them to think of a number : 1 to 9. Then, ask them to multiply it by 9 and, if the result has two digits, to add these together.  Then subtract 5 from the result.  Now, ask them to convert the number to a letter using 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, etc.  Then, think of a Country beginning with that letter.  Take the second letter of the name of the country and think of an animal starting with that letter and, finally, think of a colour related to that animal.

You will find that most of them are thinking of Danish grey elephants :)

Jez thanks for the nice comment, as for super glue the Domestic Overlord has that securely under lock and key, as apparently I need supervision when using it :(

Seems my trunk call to Billy Smarts Circus did the trick ! :)

The Domestic Overlord, thinks I should be sold to the circus, apparently that's one of the reasons we don't visit the local Zoo, as he claims someone might think somebody is trying to smuggle out a Gorilla, very rude :(
