I'm having a cab light problem with a brand new Dapol Western...
When I press cmd 1 on my prodigy advance the cablight works fine ! When I press cmd2 which works the other cab light does work but only when I'm pressing it !!

 

On taking my figure off the cmd 2 button the light goes out again !!!!

 

How do I rectify this ??

Do both cab lights stay on when using DC only? If one doesn't, that may indicate faulty wiring or PCB.

 

I unplugged the cab lights on mine, as Westerns rarely if ever ran with them on.

F2 on a Prodigy system is set up as a momentary contact for operating a horn - it doesn't stay on.
