A bit of a view

I have made a bit of progress, but for the weekend I decided to have a running session and reintroduce some stock.

So looking over what will become an embankment with a view out of the window to the tenements across the road. The train is from John Boyle etches.

A view from the opposite angle, the spire of Glasgow University in the distance.

The big windows give the railway room a lot of natural light when needed, I have fitted blinds to prevent bleaching for most of the time.

That's a pretty good advertisement for modelling the Caley! Very attractive stuff.

I thought the backscene was a bit out of scale until I looked again :-)

Cheers Mikkel.

I'm not sure what i will do with that area eventually. For now I'm just enjoying the light and the blonde sandstone.

( just a wee aside, the chap that lives in the middle right flat in pic 1 visited ; he had seen the trains from over there and wanted a closer look. He has played about with N gauge but likes the look of period EM . It would only be a 40 ' bridge...... )

Sounds like you have invented a new way of recruiting people to the hobby.

Quite a bridge, that would be a first!
