Track plan step further

Track plan could have been hard if it wasn’t for ordnance survey Ireland. I put on a historical filter and simply zoomed in over carn and Fahan and took a screenshot. As you can see they are excellent, buildings and track clearly marked and labelled. I hope to formulate a track plan soon and I’ll put it here when I do.

I hope to complete baseboard construction soon and meanwhile will wrestle with a problem. Hornby or Peco code 100 track?

For what it's worth, I'd say Peco track, definitely, but I've left some thoughts on your query in the 'Help & Advice' section.

Best of luck, either way!

I wish you luck. The Swilly had pretensions to mainline status and owned the only 4-8-0s and narrow-gauge 4-8-4 tanks in the British Isles.

If they were preserved, they would have really stood out!

AFAIK only one bogie carriage survives in preservation.
