Hi all

As a present to myself (40 again!) I sent off my oldest chip a SWD class 47 to Howes to be reprogrammed with their class 47 sounds. Excellent value for money and well worth it. Much clearer tones and more sound options that I can mess around with. I particularly like the fact that the air tank tick is on a seperate sound function (8) so you can leave it on as long as you like. The existing recording went off after a few seconds. Also more variety in horn tones and a better take off sound when starting. Goes into that familiar Duff sound quicker at lower speed. Perhaps SWD have upgraded their one (I don't know) but this version of Howes sound is just a mile away from the old SWD sound. Will try and post a small video soon on my YOU TUBE site. Highly recommend new sound. Reckon my 20 may follow the journey to Howes come pay day!
