This is Missy's fault. I wasn't going to bother with working lights but after seeing what was achievable I decided to give it a go. A few of the rooms in the flats will also receive illumination once some white miniature surface mount LED's arrive.

Cheers!

Tom.

Mmmm, if you need some more gauntlets throwing down Tom.... ;)

How about:

-A widescreen TV on in one of the windows

-To compete with Missy's Morris Minor, how about a car with its indicator flashing on and off..

-Or maybe a pedestrian with their face illuminated whilst replying to a text message

Looking forward to seeing more progress!

A flickering light in one of the rooms might do to simulate a TV being on - as long as it was mounted in a TV shaped box and shon into to the room rather than being visible out of the window. That would be neat - but perhaps a little gimmicky. What you've achieved so far is fantastic though. Especially considering this stuff must be tiny :)

Hmm, a 2mm iphone...........

Cars with head & tail lights are definitely on the cards though, and a supply of red & white micro LED's should be winging it's way to me right now. I think the base for these will be a few of the tomytec cars.

Cheers all!

Those lights look great, some of the best I've seen in N gauge. Are they scratchbuilt and if so are you prepared to give us the recipe?

If you've already posted it somewhere, just toss me a link and accept my grovelling apologies! I'm new to blogland and not sure how it all works...

Thanks! There isn't a how to at the moment but I'll try and knock something together and post it here over the next few days.

Cheers,

Tom.

I keep coming back to this photo, it's very atmospheric. Pre-dawn, very quiet with the sky a mixture of pearlescent glow hinting of sunrise and the light pollution that so annoys astronomers. The sodium lamps are very impressive.

I look forward to more.
