well folks had a small amount of time to do some weathering when i was up the shed earlier this afternoon, so the z class is getting the basic tones put on as ive not got alot of transfers to put on its getting alot of work done up front! Iknow this may seem odd but its going the right way for the mo.

anyway just took a couple of pics tonight in the kitchen so excuse the honey jar!

anyway enjoy!":D

I've got a N gauge kit to build of this class so I've been watching this one for where to add extra detailing, etc.

What logo are you applying? I noticed the early BR logo appeared to be strangely small on these locos. I got the Fox Transfers 'small' version and in N gauge it's really small!

Very nice job you've done there - is that the Hornby 8F chassis underneath, by the way? In which case, which is the body?

thanks for the kind comments scots! its been back to the shed for more work earlier today but not took pics yet more news to follow later in the week!

captain thanks again! yes as ever its the 8f on one of the masters kits!the man who has the dark art of resin casting down to a fine craft! aka chris at "Golden Arrow" we would be lost without him! although this takes alot of figuring out this kit although it looks easy but when you have to scratch build alot of bits from nothing its abit more work than doing a crosti 9f! but got somewhere near i hope??, will try and do better on the next one! although next up for southern will be the southern 08 which I hope will be alot less stress!!!:blink:

cheers all

regards ian.
