More micro layouts on the way

Hi all.

Following the success of Porth Byhan and Wheal Tiny, I've decide to create another micro layout...

This one is much inspired by Chris Nevard's recent extension to Cement Quay, and also by RandyWales' Maenol Mine .

Probably to be set in another boxfile, but this time with the box placed vertically, I'm hoping to add a working hopper and a working conveyor belt.

More progress will be posted here when there is any...

Glad to hear there's another micro on the way, I enjoyed reading about Porth Byhan!

What industry would it be set around? Minerals of some form presumably?

Hi Stu...

The hopper and conveyor sound interesting.

What scale will it be? 7mm?smile.gif

There's an excellent working conveyor system described in BRM this month.

Fen End Pit by forum member Dave Barham (BarhamD).

Looking forward to seeing things develop.

Hi Stu,

Great to hear that you're still keeping up with producing layouts!

At your usual prolific rate, you'll have finished it in a week!!!!

Randy's right (of course he is!) that conveyor system looks great - but I'd like to see you model a chap who walks out of a bothy + couples/uncouples the wagons too! (Just kidding).

Good news, Bracty Bridge (or Roath Minor) has its' 1st show - Cardiff this W.E.

and Hornby Mag want me to do a short article on it......

...and its all YOUR fault! :) :)

All the best mate

Glad to be of help !rolleyes.gif

I've got ideas for my own crate layout, depending on how the next boxfile goes, with more machinery working as well as the trains.
