I've been doing some searching around and I found this Craftsman conversion kit: https://www.normanwisenden.co.uk/dk19_craftsman-oo-gauge-mainline_class_03-04_conversion_kit.asp . Would this be the same kit you used for your Class 04 shunter?

yes, that is the one I used. It comes with the early footplate grid-work and smaller cab windows for the sides, but it doesn’t include the square windows for the front of the cab (I made mine from plasticard).
