Bristol Barrow Road - Photos of some locos in the yard

I am still waiting for the two Masokits etches so I've made a start on an EM GWR Metro tank kit I promised to build for a client a while ago....... feeling a bit guilty about the delay.

In the meantime here are a few photos, as promised, of some of my locos taken around the shed yard.

All the locos on view, apart from 75004, are Bachmann and Hornby origin which have been rewheeled to P4. I have another 40 odd RTR and kits in the stock cupboard :D

Hi Robin,

Looking very nice indeed! Might just give me that kick up the backside I need to get my project fully under way biggrin.gif

Coaling tower really makes it and gives a real sense of size. Looking forward to more :)

Hi Robin,

Each instalment provides further inspiration! Like Tim, I'm looking forward to more as well.

My own layout is of similar genre, but not of a prototype, and Barrow Road gives me a lot of help. Thank you. :)

It also shows how many compromises there are in almost everything I've done!

Best wishes,

Iain

EM Metro tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forget that, we need more Barrow Hill!

Seriously, pictures look good and I notice a bit of track creeping into some of the shots, so definite progress. Also good to see some P4 converted locos beginning to populate the yard. Do watch those return crank angles, though (RH side of WD looks to be behind centre, with the crank at BDC - but could just be the camera angle.)

Dave.
