give the blogs a try, they can be easier to follow than the forum posts, which can get too cluttered for my liking with discussion, so hard to follow the actual progress as such. Not to say the discussion is bad though, far from it.

never much liked humbrol paints when i used them for aircraft, switched to revell, then after that Games Workshop acrylics (i used to do a lot of wargame figure painting)

for something like airbrushing, DVD is going to be best i'd think.
