  1. One would have to be odd not to want a Dean 4-4-0 ST. 🧐
  2. Hi Ayjay I would find that immensely useful to myself as I develop a plan for my layout. cheers Mark
  3. Not traceable. Utter tripe. Services have access to registering mail. The only thing that can go wrong is accidents or crime, but that could happen posting local too.
  4. Wonderful! Shall order mine next month after xmas madness is done for another year. Mark
  5. Oh, I do so love those and the Archer Fine Transfers resin decals.
  6. Is it possible the wheels were distorted when pressed onto the axes?
  7. Interesting, need to keep an eye out for a review. Always dubious about excessive noise from solenoid. Hope something has been to rectify that issue.
  8. G,day Paul all I can add Paul is that you're going to sell a lot of etchings. (Of DC1 brake gear I mean.......) God you people have dirty minds......... Oh, hang on....... Seriously though, I could do with a couple of dozen for my 1900-1905 project once the etch is up and running. Mark
  9. I asked Kernow Mike, regarding space to re-gauge. Answer was they didn't know. Mark
  10. My machine is not that large. Comes in handy for cleaning my glasses too.
  11. Not much use to me, I'm in the Antipodean Colony!
  12. Thanks Chris Very disappointing. Only managed to obtain a single kit, GWR Dia AA1 6 Wheeled Brake Van.
  13. When that sort of thing happens so close to completion. Well, it just rots yer socks! For times like those I invested in a small ultrasonic bath unit from ebay. Use the IPA as per usual and the magic of the machine will do the rest without undue scrubbing and the danger of harm to details. Mark
  14. Could someone point out in this thread on which page the conversation derailed from Falcon Brass to CAD programmes? I would like to know if there has been any improvement from Falcon in supply without trawling through irrelevant pages.
  15. Any updates from Slaters regarding the 4mm coaches? Particularly the toplights. Though I know they are recovering from a burst water pipe mishap. What a mess!
  16. This is 5 years old or thereabouts. Crossrail uncovered the remains of the shed (demolished in 1906). I am looking into finding the Archaeological report, which should be available by now. Love the masonry work in the turntable pit. http://thorpestreetmedia.com/2014/10/brunels-paddington-loco-shed/#comment-1236 Mark
