Yeah you are correct but on some of the wagons there is no block/spacer so the height regardless of straight or stepped they don’t level up unfortunately.

Afternoon, I am not sure if anyone has noticed but 37-576, 37-576A, 37-576B, 37-576C & 37-576D don't all have uniform coupling so if you have a mixed rake you will find that the coupling heights differ. This is causing me a bit of a headache when shunting, Wagons 37-576A (5961), 37-576B (5955) & 37-576D (6758) appear to have a drop down lower coupling with some sort of spacer between the chassis and NEM. Wagon 37-576 (57575) does not have this spacer and causes height issues when joining with the others. Unfortunately i don't own any 37-576C (5969) so can check, but looking at pictures online it appears they also have the spacer? Does anyone have any feedback on how i can cure this issue so the couplings all line up correctly? Also on the NEM's there appears to be mixed numbers of 1,2,3 and 4...What are these reference too?

Hi Brian, Sorry to jump on an ancient post, do you still have the wiring diagram? I’m sure I’m doing it right but there doesn’t seem to be enough “umph” to throw the points. I have got a CDU to install tomorrow to see it that makes any difference. Also is it better to remove the point springs?

Hi All, Sorry to jump on an old post but what would you all recommend for a “modern” chassis so it can be chipped? I seen online some used a vi trains class 37 chassis and mentions of a Hornby DCC Ready Chassis but unsure what class the Hornby one would come from. I’m sure I’ve also seen a while back someone recommended Bachmann Class 25 chassis but needed some modifications. It was a while ago so could be getting mixed up with another project.

Hi All I would like to convert my Clan line to dcc however I am stumped. My understanding is I need to isolate the track right wire which currently fixes to the live chassis. How would I go about doing this ? Or is there an alternative way like soldering direct to the pickups? many thanks

Evening all, I would like to have some Bachmann MK2A's repainted into South Wales and West (Blue) to reflect the Cardiff-Bristol Temple Meads-Weymouth service in the late 1990's which was hauled by Class 37’s. I have been asked to provide the type face, font and size of the logos? Would anyone be able to help provide this or point me in the right direction? I guess the numbers would be a standard size? Is there also a equivalent shade of readily available paint would be a good match? Regional Railways dark blue has been suggested but wanted to ask thanks in advance
