Well I didn't learn owt from your reply! One of my other hobbies RC helicopters, some of which use coreless motors.

It is indeed, perhaps I should have said convential brushed motors. Being pedanic doesn't answer my question does it?

I'm in need of a single track hand held DC controller suitable for older type convential brushed motors and modern coreless motors. What would forum members recomend?

There were several threads post about paint choices for Hornby Dublo items, locomotives, stations etc. I can’t seem to find them, can someone please post a link. I have some to re-paint, thank you.

K’s interpretation of 1361 is a little bit different to the prototype plus there a parts missing. It would be nice to see how the manufacture intend the kit to be built rather than relying on how I think it should be assembled. Thanks for the help much appreciated.

I've been using Google (which I'm well aware and there are other search engines!). I would prefer a book ( hence asking for a book recommendations and the title of the post) and pages to turn over, however one book doesn't cover everything. The subject of industrial steam locomotives happens to be a vast and interesting one. I apologise for not posting in the "book section".

Is that just technical data and listings or does contain photographs of the locomotives?
