There is no mention that I stated that coreles motors don't have brushes in my post!
Something that I learnt a long time ago, you're just nitpicking which is neither humerous or clever!
Your just imbecile!
I'm in need of a single track hand held DC controller suitable for older type convential brushed motors and modern coreless motors.
What would forum members recomend?
What is the diameter of the thin and thick handrail wire and split pins that Hornby Dublo used?
Can anyone suggest a supplier for the handrail wire and split pins?
Thank you.
There were several threads post about paint choices for Hornby Dublo items, locomotives, stations etc.
I can’t seem to find them, can someone please post a link.
I have some to re-paint, thank you.
K’s interpretation of 1361 is a little bit different to the prototype plus there a parts missing.
It would be nice to see how the manufacture intend the kit to be built rather than relying on how I think it should be assembled.
Thanks for the help much appreciated.
I've been using Google (which I'm well aware and there are other search engines!).
I would prefer a book ( hence asking for a book recommendations and the title of the post) and pages to turn over, however one book doesn't cover everything.
The subject of industrial steam locomotives happens to be a vast and interesting one.
I apologise for not posting in the "book section".
I’m OK with black but yellow doesn’t suit me and I don’t do stripes!
Preseved locomotives should represent their respective liveries of their working lives as well as fictitious ones.
Full kudos for the paint job, gloss black isn’t the easy colour to paint anything with and those chevron stripes must have done somebody’s head in!
I do like the engine and the owner is very lucky to be it’s custodian.
Unfortunately I’ve not seen the loco in steam, however I did seen Jessie twice at Llangollen.Once on the rails being propelled by a diesel (painted blue) and the second time in the workshop (frames).
Nice to watch but I would like to see a TV program that visits all the UK heritage railways.
I realise that quite a number have had a bit of air time over the years but it’s just bits here and there!
Often when I have visit heritage railways I hear “I didn’t realise you were here” and sometimes that’s from people supposingly that just live down the road.
I realise it’s an old post but why isn’t that common practice?
Different manufactures seem to be duplicating models ( e.g.Terrier) yet there are numerous subjects to make models of.
Any such models either “ready to run” or “kit” produce could easily help funding of their prototype through such a donation scheme!
