  1. I am very much a diesel man, but do own a few steam locos based mainly on the Western Region around the sixties. Having just received my Torquay Manor, I am well impressed with the model, from the weight to the decoration, the overall look and the sound. I can see that a few have commented with issues and owing to the "hype" of modern social media it does appear to be very much in the minority, bearing in mind an issue at the factory with the tool storage tunnel quite possible resulted in some disassembly to correct. I must say that I am unable to detect any issues with mine where they would have repainted the area into green. I initially thought that the sound is out of sync but but on pressing F1 at the correct moment whilst the loco is actually moving slowly seemed to sort this. I also found that the tender water filler was stuck with paint so again just a one off for me and just required a little extra pressure from the finger nail. Oh and one handrail was slightly displaced but corrected easily. Overall, well impressed, just awaiting a couple due soon that I had ordered for some friends. I hope this is of use. Cheers.
  2. These were worth the wait. Many thanks to all who were involved in the project to bring these superb wagons to us. Three 37/0's and twenty seven empty PTA's.
  3. Lol, I am not sure which option is the best to admit to, the fact that I have bought a large amount of railway stuff or the Whiplash texts.
  4. Hi Fran, I haven't heard anything as yet. It was an early order 45xx Keep up the good work. Cheers.
  5. Hi Paul, I hope you are keeping well. I am still interested in a PoP Train kit if you are able. I was number 17 on your original list if that's of any use. Cheers, Andrew.
  6. Hi Paul, how are the PoP train kits coming along? I am wondering if any have been completed, it would be nice to see some photos. Cheers, Andrew
  7. The deed is done Jason. Thank you for all the good work and a happy new year. Cheers, Andrew.
  8. Thank you, I have a few of those already but have a little fact finding to do. They should look great alongside the 'E' train. Cheers, Andrew.
  9. I have just sent an email off to secure one of these superb kits and I am wondering if anyone can advise of the most regularly used traction for hauling the Pop train? Cheers, Andrew.
  10. Opening scene in Emmerdale tonight "Sandra's not answering" you couldn't make it up lol.
  11. A big big thank you to Bill, Jason, Kit, Sandra (to name but a few) and everyone else who had the foresight, inclination and determination to bring this superb piece of engineering to my door. I only came across the project by chance, I didn't have any means of testing it until today when I set up a dcc controller for the first time with an oval of track. Oh and by the way F16 brought a little tear to my eye. Most impressive. Roll on the HST P.
