Thank you, very kind, it was great, first time Iv ever exhibited. Two there that have been in the modelling press in the past. Its the railways biggest earner fund raising wise and plenty of foot fall today. Big thanks to my son who helped me out today

Bought some lights on line Wednesday and they arrived this afternoon, just connected them up.

Iv been busy trying to get the layout ready for Saturdays YWR model railway exhibition. lots of details added to the shed and yard.

Been adding scenic bits to the layout in the form of signs etc. Next area to address is the buffer stops end. Also 31465 has had its two top central footsteps removed as per the prototype.

Headcodes done on the class 14, fiddly when chunky dysfunctional fingers do them. Having brought two wagons in for loading the teady bear moves into the siding so the gates can be closed.

D9555 made dirty, Im sure its owners would be suitable horrified it is this dirty in preservation! Must add the head codes, would like to put 0000 both ends but not enough are included in the box, so will have to compromise a tad.

Good news from Steve at Railtec teddy bear transfers are on the way once they have arrived, I can weather it.

Fascia card on now, very small area ballasted at the end of track two, yet to be weathered. Two exit point cut outs need some more taking off as the teddy bear or the VGA,s, cant come through it 🤦♂️ Also must buy a black sheet to hide the legs and another cradle for the second controller.

Got the layout downstairs this weekend as some work to do before the Yorkshire Wolds Railway model railway show in March. I have the outer frame of the layout to clad in black card and stick the building's down and countless other jobs to do on it. Also been weathering the NR class 31 now numbered 31465.

Been away for a few days on my return the two Kernow CDA’s have arrived. These will be part of the new WRD I intend to build in the future. Any suggestions on what to weather them with for the china clay look?

Newish acquisition just back from sound installation. Unfortunately the lighting cannot be configured to how 50008 runs today.

Had a meeting at the YWR yesterday morning. Afterwards had a look at our temporary ground frame in place until our signal box owned by the Hull & Barnsley is completed. This will now enable us to use both roads for the coming operating season.

Hi Alan, Firstly great piece in RM on Blackney showed your masterpiece off to the full! Yes agree and some numbers to boot. I will ask Steve at Railtec to make a full number up for my chosen loco instead of using the provided ones then I can make it dirtier. Regards Julian.

Well the gates finally arrived post mark on envelope 9th December! So what happens I find I had one in my spares box all the time…. Gate loosely in place I will try and fix in place tomorrow.

Thought I would pull my finger out this holiday. I have attached traverser now and connected it up and trains can run through onto both lines. I now need to add a plywood surround to prevent me knocking stock off. Still no sign of the missing gates lost somewhere in the postal system.

Hi, It was posted 3 December from Intentio, all I want from it is another gate post to add another entrance gate, frustrating that the posties decided not to work the couple of days prior to the big day, although looking at the back log it will take weeks to clear! Special Deliveries are being prioritised although one posted here to Gloucester took a week. The wait continues.
