  2. Hi Chris, Thanks, Im getting better after covid booster & flu jab knocked me off my feet over the weekend. Interesting about the Invertrain one, I too wish Id got a smaller one.
  3. Is you tunnel mouth the Langley one? Mine was larger than Id wanted looks similar. Looking really good nonetheless, love your weathering! Regards Julian.
  4. Hi Al, Hope your well. Hows the WRD building coming along? Yet to build mine as Im putting a base board together to put mine on together with Marcway points and new point motors Yet to arrive Iv got for the project, which will also have a refuelling point. 5. Having unusually spent a morning in County Hall in Beverley this morning on the way back to the car which is parked in the council staff car park behind the railway station, the level crossing barriers were lowered before I could cross, undeterred I turned about and headed for the footbridge, as I found out currently closed before refurbishment takes place doh Whilst stood next to the barriers expecting to see the usual mundane Class 170 enter or leave the station what an unexpected surprise when 37419 & 37425 roar through on the RHTT, brightened up my day!! A rare sight these days on the Hull-Scarborough line are locos. Last week I did see 37422 in Driffield on the same line.
  6. Hi Paul, Dapol are on to a sure fire winner here and like the HAA wagon will sell out promptly! I agree a lovely model well worth the wait.
  7. One of my track workers has gone missing! Rumour has it he's in the signal box. And there he is skiving as per, in the comfy chair!!
  8. A couple of shots of the Dapol HEA’s in EWS Maroon livery which arrived via the usual go to retailer I use, namely Tower. I also got a blue Mainline shirt version to, not yet unboxed. As normal great prompt service from Roger there.
  9. Hi Bryn, The station building was purchased from 422 Modelmaking, he has a web site. Its based on the building that was at Lechlade in Gloucestershire on the Oxford-Fairford line. Regards Julian.
  10. Hi Bryn, As promised a couple of early shots showing the simple layout. A simple single line entering with a run round with a head shunt and a goods shed siding. Hope that helps.
  11. Hi Bryn, Thanks for your kind comment, I sincerely apologies for late reply I will search my photos that I am sure will show the basic track plan I have and post it. Kind regards Julian.
  12. Since moving to the north in 1990 it was great see excursion trains from Sheffield etc. run to Bridlington on weekends. Fast forward to 2022 and the excursion platforms are no more as are the trains that once used them and have not run for decades. A shot showing the sleepers inset where the track once was. Platforms gone and are now part of the new Lidl car park. The council I work for have invested millions in an attempt to regenerate Bridlington, but that didn't include measures to attempt to get holiday makers coming back to the resort using the trains. Train operating companies to should tempt punters back by train but I wont hold my breath.
  13. A while since Iv posted so heres a shot of 56100 about to couple up to some MTA wagons.
  14. Great news Paul, wishing you a very speedy recovery.
  15. Brilliant news for the 45/1’s another hit on the card but hey ho time to save up, very much welcomed and sure to be very popular!!
  16. Having returned from visiting my Mother Id forgotten I had some outstanding modelu figures to paint. Some touching up to do, my hand is not as steady as it once was!
  17. After a long absence a quick shot of 50036 bringing 2 MTAs into the station ready to run round.
  18. After some inactivity, week off and down south looking after Mum a spurt of activity saw the 60 numbered and the 56 have its cab hand rails fitted along with cab roof aerial. Also cork added to track on the traverser to level track up. Time for a lie down 😆
  19. Hi Ian, Did you have to make holes bigger for the cab hand rails?
  20. Do fancy getting 4564 allocated to Horton Road Gloucester shed and a regular at Cheltenham St James in pictures Iv seen. Must resist….
  21. Hi John, Brilliant modelling as always, you mentioned the bridge kits and they look great which kits are they exactly? Loved your Sarsden layout too is that still on the go? Kind regards Julian.
  22. Have a look at Hither Green videos on the 7mm site and All Stations stopper on you tube Ian gives tutorials and explains how he removes transfers amongst other topics. I removed my cockney sparrow from my 08 with a cotton wool bud and a touch of white spirit.
