  1. Last two MTA’s completed. One is in grey as I ran out of rattle can EWS maroon.
  2. Thanks Al, Il line them up and take a shot of them all together. Mean-whilst the 60 has returneth from sound installation, transfers for 60054 will be put on shortly.
  3. Transfers on the TTA now ready for getting dirty! Then the buffers and couplings can go on.
  4. Interesting to see the comparison between the two. I did not ask if Buzz had any MFA wagons in stock when I saw them at Doncaster I also seem to have mislaid the 37 lamp brackets I got from them there.
  5. Following closely behind the VGA is the TTA, the 5th Iv done, just been undercoated. Next when this is finished is another MTA.
  6. Looking good, have liking for this particular loco and snapped it many years ago (late 80’s) at Moreton in Marsh on a ballast train. Regards Julian.
  7. Very fast turn around from Steve at Railtec meant as soon as I returned yesterday from a weekend helping my Mum, I could set about putting transfers on. Weathered this afternoon and Id forgotten to add the steps so they are now on as are the buffers. I must add a bit of loctite on the threads.
  8. Do like that kit and the MAA wagon (was it Buzz models) you did. Its the soldering that puts me off unfortunately. Will check my WRD to see if I have to like ends, yours looks great.
  9. Funny thing that as I did look out for it too.
  10. Thats the third Iv done and dont think Ill get another. Cant find my transfers for it so will have to get some more from Steve at railtec. Until they come I cant weather it and fit the buffers.
  11. Decided to get the VGA built. Aluminium just been sprayed on.
  12. Not long since bought the WRD, but not got around to building it as yet. Looks impressive Al.
  13. Numbers added, next is the cab hand rails.
  14. Excellent layout Al, chuffed I went to Doncaster, was really impressed with what you and Cam/team have achieved.
  15. Made a start on the third MTA, this time Graham has sent me white metal buffer shanks instead of the resin ones. Hopefully they will be ok so just testing them with the buffer heads. Also added some brass wire to the brake calliper's at either end, I shall have to do likewise to the other two. After this one its either the TTA I bought at Doncaster yesterday or the VGA.
  16. I took a picture of the 45xx at Doncaster today but as my preference is modern image didn't ask for an update. Very nice though Regards Julian.
  17. Just visited the GOG show in Doncaster and had a chance to hold and view the new HEA. Chap there estimated a couple of months as they are at sea apparently. Very nice in my opinion.
  18. Ian Futers layout Glebe Lane. The new Dapol HEA, a couple of months away apparently.
  19. Just left the GOG show in Doncaster. Great show easy location for me to get to and really enjoyed the show. Also met Al Tait from Dovedale, superb layout as was all the layouts there. Pics of Dovedale.
  20. Quick first run on the layout tonight.
  21. Best laid plans and all that…. The numbering not done due to looking after another grandchild, so for another day. Looking forward to Doncaster tomorrow my first GoG show.
