  1. Hi guys I was wondering if someone can help me out as i have a little problem with my Hornby R8247 point decoder as in useing the elink controler with railemarster software ? Its ony just started hampering every time i connect the decoder to my track bus line i keep getting a on the Error message on the screen an the light on the elink keeps flashing Telling me i have a short somewhere i have disconnected all the points so it must in the decoder it self i was wondering if the is someway i can reset it or something? So i wondering if someone has had this problem as well an can help me out ? I really look forward to hearing from you Gavin From Australia

As i dont quite understand what your mean by writing the value 8 or cv8 to the decoder as i understand that have to contact it to the program track just the cv bit i dont quite understand hopefully you can help me out ?     Befour  i go into detail i thought id as regards to signals are you formula with how to set up signals on the Hornby railemarster useing the elink as my controller ?

      Unforutnately I've not set up any signlas using Railmaster.

      Infact I've not used Railmaster for probably over a year!

       

      You may find asking a question on the Hornby forum in the Railmaster thread will bring quicker replies.

  12. hi all i hope i don't sound a little silly but i checked out the the manual an it only covers the Hornby Select an the Elite nothing there to tells you how anything regarding the Hornby e link controller as im using the e link it with Hornby rail master software so i was hopeing you may be able to help me out with this please mate look foward to hearing from you Thank you Gavin
  13. hi guys im hoping someone can help me out as im using an a R8247 decoder for my points an it works well but i have been reading in the Forums that you are able to change it from a short high power burst of power to a continuous output feed of power witch is exactly what i'm looking for as i have read the instructions that with it but i've noticed there is nothing there to tell you how to Chang i to continuous output feed of power regarding the Hornby e link controller as im using it with Hornby rail master software as im hoping sumone is able to help me out with this please look foward to hearing from you Thank you Gavin
