  1. Very neat work and i also like the way you're photographing what you've done, it all comes across well on here. Cheers
  2. Never say never. A new find in France. a Renault JF from 1922, nearly 100 years old. Now at La Scarpe in northern France, incredible. Facebook More info here....http://www.passion-metrique.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2734&start=3300
  3. Good painting looks far more realistic.
  4. Interesting. project this, you"re quite right about the speed and getting the loco to run realistically.
  5. The question was asked on a German NG forum i belong to, there's no more info than the two photos i'm afraid. There is no reason to think that it's in the UK it could well be elsewhere such as mentioned above. Thanks for the replies so far.
  6. Anyone have an idea where this rebuilt Ruston numbered MV5 was located ?
  7. That looks much better, you could even try reducing the thickness of the roof on a test piece just to see how that comes out too....
  8. I went here a few times during the sixties, the loco survives at Eastleigh. I can remember it well, good to see it being mentioned all these years later.
  9. Those photos have come out pretty good, you're getting close to the real thing...cheers
  10. Possibly because doing a scale model of an existing prototype is beyond what they think they are capable of. A lot of modellers get surprised by just how good they can be. At the end of the day "just do it"......whatever.
