    Every night at this time, I have a owl go into twit- twoo mode until 23:00, it is great to hear this wild bird. One of my favorite animals along with foxes.

      You've actually got two Tawny owls there Terry, the female makes the initial 'Kew-wit' noise and a male responds with the 'Twoo' as they do their courting and territory marking ready for next year. 

      I used to hear them regularly around this time of year but this current pair of 'laaazzzy' dogs that I have don't like going out after dark !
