  1. As Graig has said an article has been published in the 0 gauge Gazette in the form of a 1960s photo album ie all the photos in B&W with long (hopefully ) informative captions. I am pleased with the result.
  2. Been playing around with giving the fiddleyard a backscene for some more photo ops as well shots from the main layout through the tarmway bridge of arriving or departing trains. Cropped and under the tramway.
  3. Is The Johnsoner's rather like my Wencombe and Kingsbridge regis layouts. To remind everyone instead of building to Kinswear from Paignton the line swung across the dart to Dartmouth then climbed to high point at Wencombe with a branch to Slapton and then down to Kingsbridge from the east, Traffic was basically the same traffic that went to Dartmouth. The Torbay express being renamed the the South Devon.
  4. Pleased to meat the shepherd today. it felt like we had know each other for years, which in a sense we had through RMweb and Westerner Thunder, But it was good to meat in the mutton so too speak. And Ewe looked really good.
  5. Couldn't resist a grubby 16 ton mineral. I would hope Ben Ashworth would approve
  6. Slightly reworked mineral wagon and you can see both sides. Th colour photos I've seen seems to imply the coal dust appearing to stick to the rust. There is a new load of coal for the wood'un alongside, Oddly household coal for the Forest was imported from the Staffordshire collieries I understand.
  7. The col train arrives from the colliery. and is about to be run round for its onward journey to Bullo.
  8. A new addition to the coal wagon stock, much grubbier than the others.
  9. going back a couple of years from the previous photos, 3775 entering Blackney from the branch.
  10. I apologize for interupting again. A rare colour shot by Frank Drake Of 3775 entering Blackney from the branch.
  11. Apologies Tony for dropping in another 0gauge snap D9502 leaving with a full ballast train.
  12. Are'nt alot of the recent psts straying onto the Imaginary RAILWAYS thread rather tha imaginary locomotives?
  13. Can not resist occasionlly dropping in some B&W 0gauge stuff. A recently completed semi scratch built ex GAR P18 10 ton Ballast wagon.
  14. Both sides now weathered so I will call it finished. The first side has had a little reworking from previous photo. Spot the difference.
  15. And now the other ballast wagon that I suspect many of you will havw forgotten about, it has been over 8 months, the ex GWR 10 ton ballast wagon a P18 partly scratch built.
  16. At long last i've got round to painting and applying transfers to the Grampus. Next the best bit ..........................................weathering.
  17. As much as Ilike living in the East of Norfolk, there is one problem and that is most exhibitions are at least 50+ miles away most of the better much further. I would love to see your layouts and you in the lamb (whoops flesh) but Somerset is a might to far, particularly in the boating season so cannot even make a short holiday out of a visit. Anyway. I hope all goes well.
