Or anywhere else except perhaps the original Noah's Ark, from the Bible.

Two letters out: not Pontnewydd, but Pontnewynydd. Though fairly close, they're different places.

It is of course a plot to confuse the English...

RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted June 7, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 7, 2020 There's Pontnewydds and Newbridges all over Wales, all to confuse the dwyil saes, a good few Penybonts (Bridgends) as well. In Swansea they like to confuse Cardiff people by moving similar looking buildings at road junctions around in the dead of night so you get trapped in the one way system; you can get lost for weeks in there... At least in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllchwyntrobwllgogerechllantisiliogogogoch you know where you are even if you can't say it...
MrWolf
I went to with a friend to collect two clapped out BSA WD M20 motorcycles from Tycroes near Ammanford many years ago and as we left a fog of biblical proportions descended. During which I suspect the locals were busy moving the road signs. It was only when we arrived at a level crossing for about the third time we realised that we were travelling in circles.
