Let's give this topic a little bump, especially with the Cardiff show coming up this weekend.

I've just seen this thread and found details on UK modelshops, so as this is only 3 miles from me I'll definitely be attending. Trevanna Dries owner Wayne has been trying to convert me over to EM for a while now so this might be the time.

Indeed! There will be a small Member's Sales stand too, if you want and instant fix and a quick start in EM gauge.

There's well over a week to go the Modellers' Day/AGM but we'll be busy next weekend attending the Warley National show at the NEC.

See us on Stand D03.

What if you’re not a small member but an average sized one? Will you still be able to buy stuff?!!

Who will have the somewhat unenviable task of measuring the members?

Mike.

Good luck with the event, sadly  296 miles from the coast of Norfolk is too far for me unfortunately..

As a new member of EMGS, just this week, I am really looking forward to attending this event next weekend. And it's only 4 miles away from me.

It's coming up this weekend and it's not just for S4 and EM modellers either. We hope that we'll see lots of people who model in other gauges and scales - see you there tomorrow.

Well I went and thoroughly enjoyed it. As a new EM Society member it was very interesting to see what is available. And the 3 layouts were great too. In fact it was more enjoyable than many other full shows I have been to.

Glad it worked well for you, Tony. It did for me as well.  I thoroughly enjoyed it, my pocket less so after a few visits to Martin’s bring and buy stand.  All good bargains though!

Well what a great show, I thoroughly enjoyed exhibiting today. Great to catch up with old faces and meet some new ones, many people travelled far and wide to visit and they all seemed to enjoy it.

Thanks to Peter and the EM society for the invite...

Here's a quick photo the layout I was showing, Trevanna Dries. It's just turned lunch time at the works and the manager has popped out for sneaky photo before any of his employees find out he has an interest in railways.
