Help Programming Prodigy Express2

Have just Bought a Prodigy Express 2 (sqd) controller I am trying to get it programe my existing /new DCC Concepts 8 fx Point Decoders help I cannot find an "idiots guide " anywhere  eg step by step All help gratefully received but remember i am a Tec ludite!

You can't.    As I understand the Prodigy Express, it lacks the ability to control Accessories - ie. DCC turnout devices, etc.. 

 

Your solution is to control turnouts another way, or replace the Prodigy Express with a different system which can control accessory devices.

If you look at the Gaugemaster website they are very clear that Express doesn't do accessory control.

youll either need to get a prodigy advance or get an advance handset to work with your express control box

I've got the Prodigy Express Advanced which i believe is the Advance Squared and some DCC Concepts SS point motors and i can control them with the handset under the accessory button
