We've been awfully good for the past couple of days. Teddy is a bit bruised & battered, but he's still in the pram. If it's possible, can we have our thread back, please?

As far as I am aware it was never locked in the first place, but as this is a duplicate thread this one can.

And even if it had been locked, badgering the mods in this way would most likely increase the length of time it stayed locked.

Ah, no intention of badgering the Mods at all, old chap! I don't know what happened, and, I don't want to know. What I do know, is that the mods will 'pull' a thread on occasion, to allow everyone a rest, especially in these trying times. Good for them, I say. 

 

Over the years, I've promoted the avenue of detente, where polite, factual discussion bears fruit in the great majority of cases. Right now, that avenue will bear fruit. Reading these pages show that the mood is upbeat. Good, isn't it?
