North Eastern
We are the South Tyneside O Gauge Group and our aim is to promote the benefits of railway modelling to the community of the North East. It is well known the benefits a hobby brings someone and railway modelling gives someone so many skills. We currently have three layouts in operation - 'Runswick Bay, Craster & Jacksons Yard' as well as the following layouts under construction or renovation - 'Eastfield, Forth Banks & Rainton Colliery'. We currently meet in our spacious club rooms based near South Shields. Our main meeting nights are Tuesday & Thursday, though access is available every day. If you have an interest in O Gauge modelling and want to be part of a progressive club then please get in touch by leaving a comment below or sending me a message. Craster - 1950/60's. GeoffW
A Gauge O group on Tyneside is interesting to me, although a bit of a trek from Alnwick. Edited July 31, 2020 by GeoffW

I live in Morpeth, and with the club about 1/2 a mile the other side of the Tyne Tunnel, it is very easy to get to.
bigdaveadams1
We're moving to Stokesley next year. So it'll be just over an hour away. Really looking forward to visiting this group, there are some cracking layouts at STOGG. Here's to 2021 and a better year for everyone!

RMweb Premium PJ10 Posted December 10, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 10, 2022 Afternoon, Looks very impressive. And it would look superb with the new Heljan 26s and 27s. Are there any plan to exhibit it although I appreciate transporting it wouldn't be an easy proposition? I'd love to see some of the other club layouts as well. I've had a look on the web but unfortunately I don't do Facebook. PJ10
johndon
Eastfield is due to be at Glasgow in 2024. My layout is in the same club rooms:
