Easitrac Concrete Sleeper colour variation

I’m going to use Easitrac plain track for my next layout. I’ve bought a load of the flex track with concrete sleepers, but I’m quite surprised how much variation there is in colours. It looks almost like the injection moulding machine had a darker colour in before, and I have several sprues varying from a definite silver through to the more normal pale grey. Often with some variation on a single sprue.

I get that the real thing varies a bit, and that weathering will disguise it, but I’ve never seen silver sleepers! I’ll probably give everything a coat of Plastikote Suede to blend it it before laying, as I’m going for something comparatively recently laid.

is this normal?

Yeah that is odd! I've never looked closely enough, but those top two sprues are beyond a bit of gentle weathering, they'll definitely need painting to show any sort of consistency. Like I say, I'm not hugely bothered and I'll probably just spray the whole lot, just wasn't sure it was typical.

Is this available again now? I haven't seen any of the light tan for a very long time, and I'm down to my last can!
