I am looking for the colour of the seat frames and cushions, tables and carpets etc. I have been hunting for photos online, but have failed to find any that clearly show what was what. cheesysmith Posted January 22, 2021 Share Posted January 22, 2021 IIRC the contract for the conversion to the 153 did not include any changes to the seating (it reused what was already there/done on the cheap). So they carried the original trim they had from the 155. This was broadly the same as the 156 as built, grey seats with red stripes, cream tables and grey carpets. The hints given (the Youtube video in particular) have helped me know what I need to do. I found this photo of an original 156 which looks to be the same colours but with narrow "V" stripes: Original 156 internal shot Out with the paint this weekend.
