Psiborg
An update - at last Sorry for the lack of updates. I had been waiting until the weather warmed up so I could restart working on it, but... Buxton has been put into storage after the landlord at our old address told us he had sold the house and gave us two months to vacate. We found a property with two weeks to go but, unfortunately, there is no garage so I currently have no room to work on (or store) Buxton at the new place. Thanks for the support over the years and if things change, I will post an update. (I might just have room to do something with the N Gauge RhB stock I have) Simon Edited January 9 by Psiborg
Psiborg
I meant to say that I do still have Buxton, but it is stored away from the house for a time when I have the space work on it. Cheers Simon 3

Whittle20
Thank you for sharing the progress on Buxton looks great and pleased you have managed to get things underway again, I’m building a layout loosely based on the same area. I’ve recently purchased the fuelling station from MS models, a nice kit again thank you for sharing. Can I ask did you spray with primer before painting? Thanks Andy.

I honestly can't remember if I primed it but I would expect that to be the case Cheers Simon

I am building my own version of Buxton and have constructed my own fuel point. Combination of kit bash and scratch built and I was struggling with the ladders/walkways and actual the roofs of the pump buildings. Might see if MS Models would be willing to sell me the components for the ladders/walkways.

Psiborg Posted Wednesday at 22:37 Author Share Posted Wednesday at 22:37 Fan window update I have used a Citadel Colour Zandri Dust spray can for a base 'stone' colour for the wall. It was applied without primer and it covered the white details spot on - I can definitely recommend this paint! before... and after Thanks for looking Simon 6
