RMweb Gold TravisM Posted July 27, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 27, 2021 As I don’t have one, I’m wondering how difficult it is to install the buffer beam detailing pack on a Bachmann Class 66, especially the skirt. I assume it attaches to the NEM pocket, which i think is attached to the bogies? As I want to fully detail the buffer beam at one end but worry that as the bogie turns, so does the skirt or can it be permanently fixed in place? RMweb Premium Hilux5972 Posted July 27, 2021 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 27, 2021 The skirt attaches to the body so does no swivel with the bogie. The end can therefore be fully detailed with no worries. 1

rob D2
Strangely I found the NEM pocket fouled the air dam when fitted so I had to cut it down .

I've experienced that on a couple of them too, not all strangely.
