Graham Tandy - RIP

It is with great sadness that I have to report the death of Graham after a battle with covid. Graham, although very much a Yorkshire man and proud, had been based in Norfolk for many years. Graham was an excellent modeler, especially scratch building structures. 

His layouts included Ollands End, Ashburton, Little Histon and Ebridge Mill,  these and others were all displayed at local Exhibitions over the last thirty years.  He was also very proud to have been invited to the Warley National Exhibition three times. These layouts also appeared in the Modelling Press over several years.

I am pleased to say most of Grahams layouts live on as they were sold after their Exhibition life ended. In fact I purchased Ebridge Mill with other members of our group and it will be exhibited again.

Graham sold my group Ebridge Mill after his wife was diagnosed with dementia about three years ago. Up until his death he has looked after her worsening condition. 

RIP Old Friend - we will all miss you.

Grahams Funeral will be at the Cromer (North Norfolk) Crematorium on Tuesday 12th October at 3PM.

I am sorry I missed the initial post. My condolences to Graham's family and friends. A lovely and enthusiastic gent who happily engaged with all at shows.

Hello ,

Thankyou for your wonderful comments about my grandad , whom I am very proud of , I have the model railway bug which I get from him i would always phone him and ask for advise for my own layout,  in my opinion what he didnt know wasnt worth knowing ha ha , he passed from covid on the 10th of September 4 weeks to the day before his son my dad also passed away from covid complications . Please don't be sad just get jabbed ,

How awful. Losing grandad was bad enough, but then losing your father, too.... So well done for even bothering to post here when your heart must be full of sadness. And thankyou for your sound advice about vaccination.
