MikeOxon
A lot of tank wagons being shunted this morning. I tried to enhance the loco at the right hand edge with Photoshop. It may be if help to those who know about German locomotives (which I do not!) Mike
llamafish
Loco on the right is only one of the regular SETG Vectrons (used on the slurry trains) chaps, nothing special Quite a lot of Belgian steel wagons in those shots - don't normally see that many in the yard at once, two or three covered steels, but rarely a full rake like that. Dr Gerbil-Fritters
Haha! I was getting my left and right mixed up - I hadn't even noticed the Vectron! I was thinking of this glimpsed on the far left.... I think it may be one of the Regio units, not a loco after all. The 'grills' made me think it might have been something interesting, but suspect not on closer inspection
llamafish
It's a 185, so is a loco. It's 1854xx I think, but the number escapes me, shall ask my mate later, he's good with that kind of thing! Think there's two of them in that scheme, both quite regular visitors.
llamafish
185406 is the magic number.
Dr Gerbil-Fritters
This one? So what I saw as 'grills' was in fact a darker vinyl panel. Cheers, llamafish.
admiles
Wonder if IGE rent their locos from DBAG/Schenker/Cargo as it's obviously is or has been a DB loco in the past.
llamafish
It's still owned by DB/Green Cargo. It has an unusual VKM, D-GC rather than D-DB. The Danish registered ones have DK-RSC (Rail Scandinavia) on their VKM.
John Lewis
An unusual (to me) ICE spent most of the afternoon in Plattling Gleis 6 today. <http://webcam.deg.net/?a=showcam&w=showarchivimage&o=pla&id=201604211400>Ot seems to be 11 or 12 cars long with the pantographs on the 4th coach from each end. Can anyone tell me more about it, please? Thanks you. John
llamafish
It's an ICE 4 (previously ICx), quite an ugly thing! Presumably on test in the area. I've noticed when things like that are in the area on test, they usually make an appearance for several days, something to keep an eye out for. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICE_4_(Deutsche_Bahn)

llamafish
Unless I'm missing something, all I can see there is a bogie van owned by Transwaggon?
motorcycle
What is the white locomotive please, I don't recognise this. Thanks http://webcam.deg.net/?a=showcam&w=showarchivimage&o=pla&id=201605181345
llamafish
It's a 251, formerly operated by NOB, now owned by Vossloh and hired out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NSB_Di_6
Dr Gerbil-Fritters
Any ideas? Looks like a 182 with a funky paint job...
llamafish
Excuse the poor pic: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dan700/6103792503/ was a Cargoserv livered 1216, similar to the one posted above, but the later variant of Taurus. Usually it's solid 193s these days. Edited June 4, 2016 by llamafish
Mike at C&M
http://webcam.deg.net/?a=showcam&w=showarchivimage&o=pla&id=201606061400 A real throwback in time. A Class V160 in the old red and black livery. Thought I was in the 1970s for a short while, until I spotted the ICE in the platform
Dr Gerbil-Fritters
I've been enjoying the V160 too... plus other interesting loks - it's been quite busy this morning.
Dr Gerbil-Fritters
The yard is quite empty this morning, and instead of the usual shunters there appears to be a pair of Vectrons in the stabling sidings. A container service is rushing by, hauled by what looks like a
