RMweb Premium Hilux5972 Posted September 11, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 11, 2010 Hi All. Just purchased my first 4-CEP EMU and am wanting to add a 3rd rail to my layout. Does anyone have any suggestions on where i can find a 3rd rail or how to make one? Thanks
edcayton
If you have Peco track they make the bits you need. Ed

St. Simon
Hi, Peco make code 60 rail, which you can get in most model shops in 5 lengths of around a yard which, they also produce 3rd rail insulaters with probably around 100 insulators in a packet. They have instruction on the back, but there has been an article about laying 3rd rail in an issue of Hornby Magazine (I can't remember which one, can another member remember?). There's also a good site on 3rd and 4th rail dimensions. Hope this helps Simon
