'CHARD
Crikey! That reminds me of the view in the kitchen around the time I sold my entire stud of detailed and weathered Lima 52s to a licensee in Rock, Cornwall, who was collecting all 74. I think there were 24 blue, a maroon and one green! Maybe they ended up displayed in his pub!

Trains4U
Hi all, Just a service update We are expecting some disruption due to a road closure this coming Saturday (8th) the details of exactly which roads are closed are unclear (Thanks Peterborough Council) It isn't clear if it is Fengate that is closing, or Boongate to the traffic lights. In any case, be prepared to make a diversion if approaching from the dual carriageway. Also Next week, we will be closing an hour early early at 4PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Normal opening times will resume from Saturday 15th September This is owing to staff shortages (we must have at least two staff present at any one time). Thanks Edited September 5, 2018 by Trains4U

RMweb Gold Ian Hargrave Posted January 15, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 15, 2019 Having had the pleasure of meeting Gareth and his team at Warley in November,I finally completed my order for his exquisite Cavalex wagons this weekend.I used the “quaint” system of speaking to a bright, enthusiastic and polite team member via the telephone.I had forgotten what a much more satisfying method of mail order this can be.The order arrived in immaculate condition. Shame I live at a distance.Only been once several years ago and was suitably impressed then .I remain so.

Trains4U
I try not to spam too much, but thought it worthy... We have just taken in an enormous collection of used OO model railways. Mostly locomotives and all steam. These range from late 80s Hornby through to items released in the last 6 months, with emphasis on more recent models. There are dozens and dozens of Eastern and midland locos (A1s, A2, A3s, A4s particularly) Standards and a small smattering of southern. Plus pretty much every Bachmann collectors club limited edition loco (Steam) and a good selection of locomotion models (including 2x GNR single wheelers) Well over 250 locomotives in all. The majority of these models have never been out of their boxes. We will be adding some to ebay and also some to our website as we begin to list used items. Keep an eye on our website here: http://www.trains4u.com/c/603/Pre-Owned Items are being added most days I'll also be at the Market Deeping MRC show in Stamford tomorrow with a selection of the models. Below is a sample... 3
Thefatcontroller
What a brilliant collection of Models. I love coming in to Trains4u , definitely one of the biggest second hand sections in multiple scales on display.... as well as lots of new shiny goodies. Prices very reasonable too! Cant recommend enough the additional services Trains4u offer DCC/Resprays/Weathering and repairs. Gareth and Steve run a real gem, and a great asset to the East of England in the way of a model shop. John and Mark on the shop floor are always polite and helpful, and very knowledgable being enthusiasts as well. Mathew often found hiding upstairs ,or on the layout workbench.... is. real asset with his wealth of railway knowledge and modelling skills. The shop also have some very useful contacts - Ive had a baseboard built in the past, and wiring assistance.... i believe the chap also does track laying and scenics. The brillaince of this is he offers homevisits. They have card with his details in the shop - Bet you cant go in without buying anything..... They also have an eBay store which i have purchased from on several occasions. Edited May 17, 2019 by Thefatcontroller edit
