Hello all,

 

sorry for the cross posting, but I have mentioned the black etch primer in my build thread. I gave it a go on a set of Harris wheels that are going under the Bulldogs tender. The primer has dried to a nice satin finish so no more paint required on these

I have give it the scratch test with my thumb nail and it has "stuck" well, a couple of photos of the can, for the contact details have a look on my build thread.

PS. I think that if Coachman (Larry) likes the etch primer after his first go, it says a lot.

Hello Larry,

 

my thread is in kit building and scratch building, under Finney Bulldog build in 7mm by OzzyO.

 

As I have said I do like the etch primers, more so on the slippery metals like brass and nickel silver.

cellulose paint - managed to get some a year or so ago, unfortunately the laquer is acrylic.

 

Howver someone drove into my bumper and now needs another respray

 

I use the Presision aerosol and it survived the masking tape (litho tape)
