ozzyo
Hello all, sorry for the cross posting, but I have mentioned the black etch primer in my build thread. I gave it a go on a set of Harris wheels that are going under the Bulldogs tender. The primer has dried to a nice satin finish so no more paint required on these I have give it the scratch test with my thumb nail and it has "stuck" well, a couple of photos of the can, for the contact details have a look on my build thread. OzzyO. PS. I think that if Coachman (Larry) likes the etch primer after his first go, it says a lot.
coachmann
I'm hopeless at searching for things on' t'internet, so I'd be grateful for a link to your building thread... That black etch primer info is very useful.
ozzyo
Hello Larry, my thread is in kit building and scratch building, under Finney Bulldog build in 7mm by OzzyO. As I have said I do like the etch primers, more so on the slippery metals like brass and nickel silver. OzzyO.
RMweb Premium MJI Posted March 6, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 6, 2012 cellulose paint - managed to get some a year or so ago, unfortunately the laquer is acrylic. Howver someone drove into my bumper and now needs another respray I use the Presision aerosol and it survived the masking tape (litho tape)
