blueeighties
Indeed, I have just had a break from the indoor heat by repairing the garage roof, DOH!
blueeighties
A few shots of some stuff that has been properly finished off today. A pair of 25's that have had cab lights fitted. Just weathered this one, not my conversion. 67 and PCV.
Colin parks
The latest work of yours is a pleasure to look at Lee! The oil-streaked fuel tank on the class 67 is very effectively done. Is that gloss black paint or varnish? All the best, Colin
blueeighties
Good evening Colin. I have dry brushed some gloss varnish over the base colour

blueeighties
Good morning. Chaps, I have a class 47 body in my possession, that I have been asked to paint in plain blue. Only problem is, it's a refurbishedoone, with the cut back buffer beam cab end lower edges, and flush end marker lights. Did any blue locos have this variant? RBE
I dont believe so as this was a mod done to tinsley 47s and intercity sector locos during refurbishment. Such a body mod would have required repainting in any case so would have gone into its respective sector livery. You could do it as 145 which was essentially blue with sector logos on. That loco had a refurb during its celebrity life. Cav
RBE
As for flush markers. Many had them after crash damage and the like but very randomly. 145 wasnt a flush fronted loco so its off the cards really. Research is very much key to 47 success. Jon020
If it's 47s you're researching, this is a useful place to start http://www.class47.co.uk/c47_photos_I.php?SelectLoco=47402#search
blueeighties
Yellow is the colour....... At long last, duff 035 has its proper Stratford identity. [/url] [/ DSC_0007 by rothburyuk, on Flickr url] The freightliner crane has been given a good tidy up, and a few new logos, weathering next.
